Here is a fantastic military bundle. First is the Wehrpas (Military Service Record Book) for WWI & WWII for the same soldier. The soldier, Corporal Gerhard Schmidt was in an artillery unit during his WWI service, then in an anti-arcraft unit during WWII.
His WWI Military Record Book has been affixed inside his WWII service book. This is a rare combination.
Second are additional documents for this soldier. First is a medical exam paper dated Feb. 8th 1945 which concludes that this soldier was unable to continue his service in his anti-aircraft unit. Second is the soldiers discharge papers, dated Feb. 16th. 1945. Third is an evaluation paper for this soldier dated Jan. 20th. 1945.
There is no photo this Wehrpas, the photo page is missing. It was either removed or has been lost. Pages 51 through 54 as a unit are detached from the Wehrpas, but in good condition as is the rest of the Wehrpas. The WWI Wehrpas was taped into the WWII book, and the tape is intact with a tear at the top. The evaluation (Large document) , and the medical exam document ( Green document ) are in very good condition. The discharge document is in worse condition with some tears at the folds, and some holes. It has been taped as you can see in the photo.
