The Soldbuch of Josef Wirsing, Sergeant Recce ( Bicycle ) Troops. Includes a stunning identity photo in uniform. Entitled to the wound badge in gold, the general assault badge, and the Iron Cross second class. Sergeant Wirsing served until Nov. 1941 in Radfahr-Abt. 402, an independant cyclist recce unit active in Russia from June 1941. Sergeant Wirsing was severely wounded Feb. of 1944. He was sebquently discharged unfit for further duty.
Soldbuch is in very nice condition. Soldbuch is worn from age, but all pages are intact to the spline. Spline itself is worn from age, but also intact.
