A beautiful Handwerkskarte (Craftsman's Guild Certificate) dated 1935. This document was a tradesman's proof of ability. It proclaimed that he was a master of his trade. These documents, made by tradesman (Bookbinders), were often beautifully made with leather or cloth covers with gold block lettering on the cover. This document includes a fabulous photo, rich embossed stamp on page 1, and page 2 partially over the photo. Document is in excellent A1 condition!
